3 months

You're 3 months old today. It seems like just yesterday I was writing about you being 2 months old... It's going fast...just like everyone said it would...

Here's a few things I want to remember about this time in your life.

-You smile all the time. It's the happiest, most cheerful, melt a mama's heart, "I'm excited to be alive!" smile I've ever seen.-You sleep about 8 hours a night. (10-11 hours the past 3 nights.) You wake up happy every morning. You don't cry when you wake up, you just lay there wiggling and watching your mobile until I come in and get you, and you smile at me as soon as you see me. It's the best way to start my day.-You rolled over on your own a couple days ago. You did it pretty quick and I didn't expect it at all. I was sitting on the floor right by you wrapping gifts when you did it, and it was so fun to watch. I laid on the floor and looked at you right after you did it and when you saw me you got excited and gave me a big smile.

-I'm not sure what you weigh. Probably 12ish lbs. You're in size 2 diapers and probably half of your 3 month sleepers are getting too small already.-You're head is doing so much better. You have 2 more treatments in Utah and then we'll be moving to California and hopefully finding someone there who is as good as your therapist here.

-You flirt with all the ladies and they all love you. You were the hit of both dad and my company Christmas parties. And you have a lot of "aunts" who are really gonna miss you.-You've done a lot this holiday season. Parties, pictures, lights, walks all bundled up in the cold, restaurants, shopping, etc. You do great and I never worry about taking you out.-You've started this thing where, when I come in for a kiss you open your mouth and flutter your eyes, and then after I kiss you, you smile at me.

-You've laughed a few times. Mostly when we tickle you, a couple times during peek-a-boo, and once or twice when we've been having a fun "talk".

-You're grabbing things, putting things in your mouth, sucking your fingers, and drooling a bit.-The car seat is still your least favorite place to be, and I really don't blame you! But you usually calm down pretty quick.

-You always smile and talk to yourself when we put a mirror in front of you. You're fascinated by your reflection.

-You're so chill, and you like watching TV.-We went and saw Santa last night. You were a hit. We took our own pictures (instead of paying the photographer) but she asked if she could take some pictures of you anyway to use in her store/for advertisements, etc. You're just too cute!I love you kiddo...
