Playing catch up for July...

In no particular order...

We've gone to the beach a lot this summer.  The amount of joy that the sand and the ocean bring to you make all the sandy car seats, carpets, beds, bathtubs, sandwiches and shoes, worth it.

Playdate with Mathia.
You climbed to the top of this really big slide and you wouldn't answer when I called for you.  It scared me for a second until you came squealing down.
I took you to the doctor because you had a lingering cough.  The doc thinks you have seasonal allergies.  The medication we've giving you has helped a lot.
 Breakfast with dad.

 Night time cookie makin'.
Sometimes you chow down on vegis, sometimes you don't.  This was a night that you chewed and chewed and wouldn't swallow.  We made you stay at the table till you swallowed it, and Addie was your entertainment.  It took you about 20 minutes.

Bowling, Father's day, and more.

We took you and Addie with us on our anniversary date.  Dinner and bowling.  This was your second time bowling.  You loved it the first time, and you loved it more this time.  Even knocking one pin over with the help of a ramp and bumpers earned a cheer from you.  Your excitement is contagious, and you were making a lot of people bowling near us smile.

We started out our Father's Day with brunch at the park with extended family.

The first time Poppy had all of his great-grandchildren together.
That evening we went to Bapa and Gaga's for dinner.

And the day ended with bedtime snuggles with Dad.  I think he had a great day.

Near the end of June, Mimi flew out for a week to stay with you kids so dad and I could go away for our anniversary.  I didn't get many pictures, but it sounded like you had lots of fun.
And we had a fun day with her before Dad and I left for Vegas.

We also found a fun place with Gaga a couple of weeks ago called Little Prince Kids Cafe. It's a kid friendly restaurant and play place.  You were in heaven, and we'll definitely go back.

You look scared, but you really quite enjoyed the slide.

You and Addie really are just the cutest little buddies.  Watching you play together and chat together melts my heart.  I'm sure it won't always be like this, but I hope it is.
