I'm getting used to you I think. I know I had 9 months to "prepare" for you to be here, but now that you're here, I think most things can't be prepared for.
We're getting a pretty good routine going. I'm keeping the laundry, dishes, and cleaning under control. And every once in a while I get a nap!
We go to a spinal touch therapist once a week to have your little misshaped head worked on. Its a problem that you developed inside of me and its something that you will eventually grow out of, but we're doing the treatments to help relieve some pain and tension that you might be feeling. (I wish you could tell me! That's the most frustrating part.)You have different cries, and I think I've about got each one figured out. You're very alert. You look around a lot and you move a lot. Your little neck and legs are so strong. You're growing. We have some newborn size stuff that is tight on you now. Although I never thought I'd have a 4 week old who could fit into newborn clothes. I just thought I'd have a bigger baby! But I love how tiny and cuddly you are and I know I'll miss it when you're bigger. It's still nice outside and you enjoy going on walks. I'm feeling sad about the cold weather that's on its way because I think you really enjoy being outside.
Everyone who meets you, loves you. We've had a lot of visitors and we've taken you out a couple times to parties and you're always the highlight of every event.A diaper change at dad's office.Yesterday we went to the zoo. I think aside from an occasional bad smell you didn't know the difference between a stroller ride at the zoo or the usual stroller ride in our neighborhood, but it was nice to get out and change up the view.I still can't believe you're mine, and I can't believe how much I love you! Your dad loves you too, he's doing great at the dad thing.
