We went to the doctor again today. We're down to our last appointment before starting weekly checks. You're growing right on schedule, even though I didn't gain ANY weight in the past 2 weeks! I was surprised because I feel like you've gained 10 lbs., but I'm not complaining!
The doctor felt around and could tell that you are head down. She couldn't tell if the little bump poking extra far out of my tummy was knees or bum, but whatever it was, it was little and cute.
I've decided to stop talking about routines, because they seem to change daily at this point. However, one routine that we've gotten into the past week or so, that I'd be happy to have end is nausea. I haven't thrown up again (since 2 weeks ago, or so), but it hits me late at night or all throughout the day if I don't eat at least every 2 hours, which is why I thought I'd packed on the pounds. I drink a lot of water, which helps, I eat a lot and I sleep with saltines. If the nausea wakes me up I grab a cracker and usually I'm able to go back to sleep. A couple nights ago I went RIGHT back to sleep and woke up a couple hours later with cracker in my mouth. Yuck, and probably a little dangerous.
I've had a few emotional ups and downs lately, and I think I can say I'm entering the stage of pregnancy where I stop totally loving that you're 'all mine' right now, and I'm ready to see you and hold you and kiss you and share you with your dad and your extended family. (They're all ready for that, too!)
We really can't wait to meet you!
