It's been 19 days since I told you I was fine with you coming anytime. Which also means 19 days of walking a lot, 19 days of doing more projects around the house, 19 days of anxious friends and family, 19 days of spending dad's money on you. We've had some more money, gift cards and duplicate gifts trickle in over the past couple weeks, so I haven't spend a lot of money but I've done a lot more shopping and a few exchanges. Mostly not fun stuff, just stuff you really need, or things I need to take care of you.
Your Grandma Greenhalgh is home from Germany. You're Uncle David has been to Alaska and back since I told you you could come, and your Uncle Scott and Aunt Laura are all moved into their new house. Everyone is done with the big stuff going on and we're ready for you!
I've had some dizzy spells the past week and the doctor says its vertigo and it'll stop when you get here. I've been a little sick off and on, but nothing too bad. You're growing and still head down (we had to do a quick ultrasound last week to make sure of that). If you're not here by Friday we'll do a stress test to make sure you're ok, and if you're not here a week from today we'll start some medication to get you out.
You're dad has been kind of worried about having a safe car to drive you around in, especially in the snow. Right now we have a really small car that the car seat barely fits in and a small truck that we'd never try and put a car seat in. We thought of buying a bigger car or small SUV, but didn't feel great about working that out in the budget. Fortunately both of your grandpa's have pulled through for us. Grandpa and Grandma White decided they wanted the truck back when they found out we wanted to get rid of it. (We bought it from them last year.) And at the same time your Grandpa Greenhalgh decided he wanted to buy a big truck. So he did that and still had his Ford Explorer. G-pa W sent us money for the old truck, we gave that money to G-pa G, and now we have his old Explorer to tote you around in, and no extra car payment. Such a blessing! So now we're really ready for you, for snow, for change! So, anytime...
