I've become even worse at keeping up on your blog these days. The thought of keeping up with you and your sis seems impossible! But I'll try...On your birthday I made you french toast for breakfast and you loved it. You didn't eat it until it had been sitting around for a while because you slept in til almost 10:00! But it was still good.We hung out together all day. I gave you some blue licorice that turned messy in a matter of seconds, but it was cute and you had 2 birthday shirts, so I just let you enjoy it.You got lots of texts, phone calls, and facebook messages of your big day. (I wonder if facebook will still exist when you read this...) Anyway, you are loved!
Dad and I gave you a fish tank for your birthday. We set it up during one of your naps so you would wake up to it and I got just the reaction I wanted. You've always loved fish tanks and you love yours too! It was so cute (and still is cute) to see you watch them, tap the tank, point at them, and laugh at them.We went to the Rain Forrest Cafe for you birthday dinner. It was really fun and you got your very own meal, Mac N Cheese. You also got a birthday sundae and the restaurant staff sang to you. You tried to grab the lit candle, so dad hurried and blew it out just in time. After dinner we went to Grandma and Grandpa White's house for presents and cake. And you did your first official walking that night! It was so cute. You were so focused, yet so excited at the same time.It was a fun day to celebrate you being in our lives for a whole year!
There's much more to catch up on and my goal is to do it this week. You just keep me so busy! But I'm determined now that I'm in the 'any time now' part of pregnancy, and you're sis could be here before we know it...
