We went to a Christmas parade and you sat still for over an hour. It was a Christmas miracle. You loved the bands, sirens, and floats...pretty much everything about the parade, you loved. You had your 6th haircut a couple weeks ago. It's my favorite so far, even though behind your ears is a little messy. One of these days I'll pay someone to cut it.We had a few inside days because it got a little cold, and I didn't want to take Addie out. You found ways of staying entertained, and you wiped dad out.We celebrated Christmas early with the White's. You got spoiled. You did good at opening gifts, but at this age, one would have been plenty because you didn't want to keep opening, you just wanted to play. You decided it was finally time to walk for good. Grammy Greenhalgh came to town and was babysitting you. You were standing playing at a toy, and you turned, smiled, and walked to her. You haven't stopped! It was so fun when dad and I got home to see you walk to us with so much excitement. So it took you almost 3 months to perfect it, but you're finally doing it!You flew to Utah with Grammy a couple days before Christmas, then the rest of us came on Christmas eve. It sounds like you had a great time getting so much attention from Grammy, Gramps and Uncle Dave. Grammy dressed you like a shepherd on Christmas eve, you were just obsessed with the stick and got a little crazy. You got plenty of stuff and I think you loved being with family and getting so much attention. We spent Christmas afternoon at your great Aunties. You loved having a new house to explore. You learned the concept of blowing out candles on your birthday, but now you try to blow out any little light. Here you are trying to blow out the tree lights. We tried to spent as much time as we could with Grandma and Grandpa Garrett, but I failed to get a picture of you with them. You love their stairs. We went to the lights at Temple Square. Grammy took you one the escalator about a million times at the visitors center and you didn't want to leave. You got to hang out with your buddy, Conner. The night before we left you hid in Grammy's cupboard. I guess you weren't ready to go home. And we all left Utah with colds, except Addie. Other than that it was a great trip!
The night we got home we let you oped your gifts from us. We didn't get you much. Just a few DVD's, a game, a hoodie, a marbleworks castle, and a xylophone.
I could have just given you the xylophone. You LOVE that thing. I had to include all the pictures because I couldn't pick my favorite. Here's how excited you are about your new hoodie. You like the marble works castle too. It got played with a lot yesterday. But why they had to put bells in those big marbles, is beyond me. Quiet toys next year! All in all, you had a great month.
