almost 16 months

Today I took your sister to the doctor for her 2 month check up. The nurse asked how old my other child is and I said "14 months". I forgot that even though the time is flying by with Addie, you're still growing and getting older too fast too!

You seem to like your sister and you try and play with her a lot. The only time you don't like her is when she has a day of not much napping. You get sick of seeing me hold her and you get a little frustrated. But for the most part, you have adjusted really well to the new addition in our home.

You still take 2 naps a day (about 3 hours total) and you sleep about 11 hours at night. No complaints from me!

You're very confident on your feet.

You love soft fuzzy stuffed animals and blankets and you're always carrying one or the other. We refer to all of them as "snugglies".Today at a work lunch party with dad we spun you in an office chair and then had you walk. It had everyone laughing because you were pretty dizzy, but you wanted to do it over and over again.

You seem to talk more like you think we understand you, but there's no new words to report right now.

You learn things so fast and you remember them when we tell you to do something. Things you do on command: Hi (you wave or say hi), Bye (you wave), Show me your muscles (you flex and make a grunty face), let me see in your mouth (you open your mouth), do you want more (you do the sign language for more or shake your head no), are you done (you put your hands up like 'ta-da'), Yeah! (you clap), I'm in trouble (you put both hands on your head and make an uh-oh face), Where's sis (you point at Addie) Should we read the dinosaur book (you go dig out the dinosaur book and bring it to me), I love you "this" much (you open your arms wide), make it rain, G! (you brush your hands together and laugh). Those are the ones we have the most fun with currently.

We've started you on a product called kid-e-reg, and its working wonders on your constipation problem.

You love playing with people. We don't have a lot of friends with kids here, but as long as an adult will get on the floor and play with you that's good enough for you.You can get in it yourself, you just can't figure out how to get out yet.Playing at the park with Grammy G, she came to California for a day as a surprise with Scott and Laura. That's a real bird that a street entertainer handed to you on the Santa Monica pier.
