The Zoo and a couple other things...

We went on a mini family vacation over the weekend. Dad had free tickets to the San Diego Zoo. So we headed down there on Saturday, spent the day at the zoo, spent the night in a hotel, and came home Sunday.You had a great time. We were at the zoo for 5 or 6 hours and you were awake for all but about an hour of it, and you were happy the whole time. You loved the fish and the elephants had your attention for a while, but other than that you didn't seem to care about much else. You just love seeing whats going on around you.There was a peacock walking around. Dad and I couldn't decide if it got free on accident or if its the normal routine. He started to come toward to, so I took a (blurry) picture. After it walked away a lady said she saw a video of a peacock attacking a baby once. Oops...You're tough enough to handle it, I'm sure.Dad and I had a lot of proud parent moments throughout the day as we heard so many comments about how you're the cutest baby ever. People commented on how alert, laid back and happy you are. You smiled at everyone. You flirted with a 10 month old little girl. And your dad and I agree with everything everyone said!You had fun at the hotel, and after a full day, you slept great.A couple other things from the past week or so...

You looked super cute in your St. Patty's Day outfit from Auntie Mara.You had your first haircut. (from me) You did great, just didn't feel like holding still much. I've found a couple problem spots, but I'm going to give it a month or so and try again. Over-all, I think I did pretty good. You look so cute and grown-up!
