Utah...again.

We just got back from 2 and a half weeks in Utah.  This trip was for the Greenhalgh family vacation in Wolf Creek, as well as 2 weddings and a birthday party.

We stayed the night in Vegas and we shared the bed with you.  I probably would have slept more had we just driven though the night.

Unfortunately, we didn't end up going to Wolf Creek because the morning of our trip we found out that my Grandma (your great-grandma and namesake) had fallen down the stairs.  We spent the day at the hospital, and the next morning she passed away.  It was a long week and you were a little trooper.  Lots of late nights, babysitters, (if we can call Aunt Kate, Uncle Jordon, and your girlfriend B, 'babysitters'), and a really sad mom and Grammy.  You did a great job at cheering everyone up.  And although you wont remember your great-grandma, I'm grateful for the memories I'll have of you with her.  Her and great-grandpa love you so much.  And even though you only knew them for 2 years, and we spent most of that time living in California, you saw them often, probably more than any other great-grandchild.  You knew who they were and you loved playing with Grandma.

(These first 3 pictures are at my cousin, Elisabeth's wedding reception.  We made it to Salt Lake just in time for it.)

Taking a power nap with Uncle Dave after a long day at the hospital.

 Our family with Grandpa.

You chased the girl cousins all during the luncheon.

When we were done with everything for Grandma, Grammy and I decided we needed a fun week with you and Addie.

We spent a lot of time outside.

We went swimming and ate hot dogs.

You helped Grammy pick all the peaches.
We went to Swiss Days in Midway.
And we spent a lot of time with Great-grandpa Garrett.

We went to your girlfriends birthday party and you loved blowing bubbles with Auntie Mara.

You shared a table with, and gave roses to B.

You cheered her on as she ate her cake.
And you shared your first kiss!  Right after you kissed her, you cheered for yourself.  You walked around saying, "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!"  And you gave everyone high fives.
We ended the trip with a Labor Day barbecue with family and headed home right after it was over.  You loved all the space to run and you tried really hard to keep up with all the big kids.
But all the running wore you out so you took a break and watched from the sidelines.
Someone wanted an 'all babies' picture.  You kinda have an "I'm not a baby" look going on here.
We spent that night in St. George and finally made it home the next day.  It was a long trip and it was good to be home.
